Those who skipped the previous two updates and opt to download the 2.57 will also get the changes brought by the 2.55 and 2.51 software updates. The official changelog read, "System software stability during use of some features has been improved." The announcement said that the latest update will be a minor one aimed at improving the stability of some of the console's features.Ī day after the announcement was made, the 2.57 PS4 software update went live on the PlayStation website. Earlier this week, Sony announced via their Twitter that the PS4 is getting the 2.57 software update, just a few weeks after the previous 2.55 update.
